Tired of pretty planners that aren’t actually helping you get things done? Us too!

We’re well into the year, and if you haven’t been getting the results you’re looking for in life (i.e. if you’re not extremely happy and satisfied with your current life, you’re not getting the results you want), then it’s time to look at how productive you really are.

Cute and colorful planners (washi tape and all) are nice to look at, but TBH they aren’t ideal if you’re someone who has big goals and needs a real daily productivity system.

Being productive isn’t just for type A personalities or millionaires. Juggling work and life balance, including exercising, maintaining relationships with loved ones, caring for children, getting 8 hours of sleep, eating healthy (and the grocery shopping required), hobbies, and overall adulting, requires pre-planning and time management to get everything done (or try to).

We’ve compiled the best planners for high productivity that not only look nice, but also offer more than just blank boxes to write in your to-do’s. These planners are productivity systems that offer worksheets for goals, question prompts, and sometimes include full productivity systems to follow if you need an overhaul of your current productivity method.

WHO’S IT BEST FOR: The High Performance Planner is for anyone who wants to be more productive (solopreneurs, stay-at-home moms, 9-to-5 warriors)

WHAT IT IS: Brendon Burchard is our #1 favorite in the personal development space. He’s the high performance coach to mega celebrities like Oprah and Usher, works with Tony Robbins, coaches Olympians and Fortune 50 executives, and has a 10 million online following. His much anticipated High Performance Planner was finally made public after years of testing it on his own coaching clients. The planner feels like a Moleskine notebook, and it’s over-sized so you can use it for journaling and note taking as well.

DATED: Undated (60 days of pages)

FORMAT: Monthly and daily pages

BEST FEATURE: This planner includes daily morning and evening question prompts to evaluate your mindset twice a day. If you feel stuck in life or your progress feels slow, these consistent twice daily prompts will help you uncover the roadblocks.

WORSE FEATURE: This planner focuses on daily pages, so if you need weekly pages then look elsewhere.

WHO’S IT BEST FOR:  Manifestors and those working on increasing their daily vibration.

WHAT IT IS: If you’re into manifestation and The Secret, then the Law of Attraction planner is perfect for your everyday productivity. A vegan leather cover houses houses weekly pages along with a fold-out vision board, affirmations, emotional vibration charting, 90 day goal setting, progress and achievement tracking and more. It’s dated until 2020 in a convenient A5 size to carry around with you in your handbag.

DATED: Feb 2019 – Feb 2020

FORMAT: Monthly and daily pages

BEST FEATURE: It’s the only planner of its kind to focus on a daily manifestation practice, with goal setting exercises that focus on getting you energetically in harmony and alignment.

WORST FEATURE: It doesn’t have dedicated daily pages (only weekly), so you may not have enough space if you have really long daily to-do lists.

WHO’S IT BEST FOR: Entrepreneurs, business owners and bloggers

DATED: Undated (13 weeks of pages)

FORMAT: Monthly, weekly and daily pages

WHAT IT IS: Used by Shark Tank star Daymond John, the SELF Journal is a combination of a planner, notebook and journal in a hard cover with the businessperson in mind. The planner centers on daily reflection so that you are always in-tune with your results, including daily prompts like your goal for the day, gratitude, lessons learned, the day’s win, and more. It lays out specific goals during the 13-week cycle so you can stay hyper focused on results.

BEST FEATURE: Ample space for notes and goals, plus a tracking system is built in to stay accountable (perfect for those who work from home or are solopreneurs).

WORST FEATURE: If you aren’t use to tracking, this could be an overwhelming system for you. But if you aren’t tracking your progress yet, then this planner is the key to increasing your results in the long run.

WHO’S IT BEST FOR: Anyone who needs to get clear on their goals and dreams, and who needs a system to achieve them

WHAT IT IS: If you’re unsure what your goals are (which is why you aren’t getting any results), then the Passion Planner is the answer to get clear on what you want. Nothing can be achieved without getting clear on your goals and dreams, so this planner helps you identify what you truly want, and then create a weekly system to get there.

DATED: Jan 2019 – Dec 2019

FORMAT: Monthly and weekly pages

BEST FEATURE: This planner is perfect for those who want a more high-level overview of how they spend their time each week to beat the overwhelm of a long daily to-do list. The weekly layout uses an hourly time system each day so you can schedule all of your appointments and tasks (perfect if you “batch” or “time block” your tasks during the day). It also includes space to separate your personal to-do’s from work tasks to help you organize your time more efficiently.

WORST FEATURE: Since this planner focuses on a weekly layout, it doesn’t have space for a daily to-do list or for daily note taking.

WHO’S IT BEST FOR: Entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, team leaders

WHAT IT IS: Created by self-made millionaire and former CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishing, Michael Hyatt created the Full Focus Planner to help entrepreneurs truly stay focused on your big-picture goals and break them down into manageable daily action, all while beating overwhelm. Featured in INC Magazine, the Full Focus Planner is made for those who have big dreams and need a simple-to-use system to break them down into manageable tasks so you can focus on results-drive action everyday.

DATED: Undated (90 days of pages)

FORMAT: Monthly, weekly and daily pages

BEST FEATURE: This planner is entire productivity system since it’s based off of Hyatt’s signature live workshops and online courses, so it’s a great value for money without having to pay for his other coaching services. This planner is the closest thing to having an executive coach.

WORST FEATURE: Because this planner is a productivity system, it’s not for the faint of heart as you need to be serious and dedicated to increasing your productivity, as this planner is extremely results-oriented.
